Lovin' me some Scandinavian Wishes!

Isn't it Great how First Impressions aren't always correct? I think I'm repeating myself from yesterday, maybe I need to just learn to be a little more patient! 

I'm introducing you to the October Stamp of the Month 'Scandinavian Wishes' :)  It was the furthest thing from my taste but as I began playing with it I just fell in love!

I am totally In Love with Close to My Heart's Circle Spin Cards! They are BEYOND Cool! I covered my spinner circle with the same scalloped square (only .25" larger) that fit the flourished stamped frame from the set! I masked out the "To" & "From" and then stamped my sentiment inside...it fit PERFECTLY!

Four of the stamp images in this set coordinate with our Art Philosophy Cricut Collection! Did you know that ANY stamp image in our idea books that have a red outline around them  match one of our EXCLUSIVE Cricut Cartridges?  

Did you ALSO know that even though any Cricut Coordinating stamp set - whether listed in the Idea book or not - Is NOT retired?! YES! That's right! At this time Close to My Heart is still offering any of the Cricut Coordinating Stamp sets for sale even though they are not in a current Idea Book! I really love the Non Traditional "Red" & "Green" in this card! I used B&T (Background & Texture Paper) from the Kits; Laughing Lola, Frosted, and my dear friend Chantilly! Toss in some Black Glitter Paper & Adhesive Backed Black Shimmer Trim and PRESTO! Ka-CUUUTE! 

This card is SO Sparkly in person, my photo taking skills (nor my camera) have ever been "something to sing about" LOL!

Still Lovin' Chantilly!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my very Favorite layout Kits...I think I say that about all of them but really, this one is near the top! :) 

I don't feel like the Close to My Heart Idea book quite does the Chantilly product line the justice it deserves! The colors look a little muted on the pages...but oh my word! Get that beautiful paper in your hot little hands and you'll see what I'm talkin' about! Wowza! It is GORGEOUS!! It's so bright it just pops off the page!

I LOVE this layout! It includes some of my favorite embellishments! Would you look at that zipper lace trim!! and that Fabric!?

ECK! Do not be nervous about incorporating Fabric into your paper crafting!  Below is a video that speaks a bit about this very subject. :) I have also uploaded a picture tutorial on how to easily work with our Textiles here on my blog.

I Love all the elements that make this layout an eye catcher...the Chantilly assortment (they are the Coolest adhesive backed fabric covered badge buttons), the 

Pink glitter gems, pink buttons, bakers twine...Loooove it all!
